A beachfront setting with category-specific terms

Buri Rasa Koh Phangan, now named Buri Rasa Village Phangan, is at 55 Moo 5, Thong Nai Pan Noi Beach, Ban Tai, Koh Phangan. Its Ocean Front Deluxe and Ocean View Deluxe categories both have a listed area of 45 square metres and capacity of up to three guests aged sixteen or above.

That age provision belongs to these categories and should not be extended into a resort-wide adults-only claim. Families should establish which accommodation is available for their group. Likewise, capacity for three does not by itself establish the third sleeping arrangement, which needs checking with the actual offer.

Frontage or outlook?

The official Ocean Front Deluxe page describes a king bed, rain shower, smart television, private balcony or terrace and reserved beachfront loungers, with the beach a few steps away. Its attraction is the direct relationship between room and shore.

The Ocean View Deluxe description instead emphasises a tropical and ocean outlook, also with a king bed, rain shower, private balcony or terrace and reserved loungers, plus a ceiling fan. Housekeeping and turndown are advertised. Choose between them through room position and outdoor space rather than floor area, which is the same. Reserved loungers attached to these offers should not be assumed for every room in the resort.

Recent guests add pool and transfer context

Suzanne’s Expedia review dated 11 August 2026 after an August stay praised beach sun-and-shade choices, swimming, attentive staff and the breakfast buffet. Warren, reviewing on 26 May, liked beach access, check-in and restaurants but found roughly ten pool loungers, insects at breakfast and limited evening entertainment during that visit.

Robert’s 8 February 2026 review after a January stay valued his room’s reserved loungers and a paid, coordinated van, speedboat and onward-car transfer to Samui. Agree any such journey separately, including timing and price. Buri Rasa is most persuasive when this beach setting and the selected category fit the holiday; neither a lounger count nor an earlier swimming experience guarantees present availability or sea conditions.
