The Sripoom Road address offers a useful location, while historical guests differed sharply on room condition.

Match the Sripoom Road address

This Ganesha House guesthouse is at 9/1 Sripoom Road, Soi 1, in Chiang Mai’s old city. Match that street address when booking: another Chiang Mai business uses the same name at a different location.

Expedia places the guesthouse near Wat Chiang Man and Tha Phae Gate. Its listed facilities include a terrace, garden, Wi-Fi, parking and luggage storage, with breakfast available for a surcharge.

Check room condition before choosing

The written guest feedback is old and mixed. I-Tzu’s review of 30 January 2017 described simple but comfortable accommodation and kind staff. Bryce, posting on 17 November 2016, liked the courtyard, sense of safety, available staff and old-city location, but reported sparse furnishings, dirty walls and a bathroom sewage smell.

A review dated 6 August 2016 also raised bathroom cleanliness and weak shower pressure, and described a small room without a chair. These are individual historical experiences, but the contrast makes recent room photographs and up-to-date condition feedback useful before committing.

Allow for stairs and arrival times

The listing states that the property has no elevator. Check-in is shown as 14:00 to midnight, with checkout at noon. Confirm the room floor and arrival arrangements directly, especially if stairs or a late flight affect the stay.
