Sangaroon Resort is at 302/4 Moo 3, Mueang Kao, Sukhothai, distinct from the similarly named bungalow accommodation on Koh Chang. Its old-town location should be matched to a Sukhothai itinerary rather than treated as an interchangeable province-wide address.
ReadyToTrip lists a Standard Double with balcony, air conditioning, fan, refrigerator, television, wardrobe and private bathroom with shower. Parking, Wi-Fi and bicycles appear in the property inventory. Confirm the selected room’s features and any bicycle availability or charges before planning around them.
A practical stop in the older account
KevinJ1955’s December 2016 Tripadvisor account described a September driving stop at four basic, clean and comfortable bungalows in a gated courtyard, with firm beds. The two owners spoke little English during that visit, while their son could help when present. Bicycles were lent for a historical-site outing estimated at about one kilometre.
That is a useful account of how one earlier guest used the property, not a current service assessment. The walking or cycling route and any loan arrangement need checking independently. Sangaroon is worth considering for a straightforward old-town-area base when the actual room and arrival arrangements fit; the older review cannot establish present staffing or room condition.
