An apartment rather than a room on the sand
Casuarina Shores is in the Bang Tao area of Choeng Thale. The property describes the beach as around 200 metres away, or roughly a five-minute walk. It is set back from the shore; the nearby-beach photograph does not show a beach directly outside an apartment.
The official layout describes 140 square metres with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living space, a full kitchen and a 30-square-metre covered terrace. A dishwasher and washing machine support self-catering stays. Advertised capacity reaches six including an extra bed; confirm the bedding arrangement.
Distinguish shared facilities from a private pool
The property lists a 25-metre lap pool, a family pool, jacuzzi, sauna, gym, barbecue area and parking. Rooftop private pools are associated with penthouses, rather than being a feature to assume in every apartment. Request the precise category and pool arrangement when comparing offers.

Keep the construction report in its proper period
Karen M’s June 2022 review of a May stay praised spacious, clean apartments, large balconies, maintained gardens, swimming pools and helpful staff. Beach access and help arranging taxis were useful; bicycles mentioned then should be reconfirmed.
Rosemary H’s April 2024 account of a March stay was very different: a returning guest reported substantial nearby construction noise, dust and a blocked outlook. In a response dated 31 October 2025, management said the neighbouring construction had finished. That is the property’s statement, rather than independent confirmation of current conditions.
Ask about work near the particular building and the outlook from the allocated apartment. The older complaints should not be presented as proof of an ongoing problem, and the later response does not guarantee quiet for every future stay.
