Choose it for Phuket Town

Me Room Hotel, also listed as Meroom, is at 77 Dirok-U-tid 1 Road, Talat Yai, Phuket Town. This is an urban base for the town’s shops and food rather than a beach stay. Check transport separately if your days will centre on the island’s western coast.

Listings describe a small property with individually themed rooms and practical facilities including air conditioning, a refrigerator, television and a private shower bathroom. The photographed black-and-white bedroom illustrates one design, not every category.

Room experiences have varied

Peteski2016’s December 2018 review enjoyed the black-and-white “Sister” room, including its chandelier and large rain-shower space, and described friendly staff and clean, functional accommodation. A July 2018 account by michaeltysoe liked the market and town access but noted motorcycles at night.

Ziassou’s December 2023 review was markedly less positive. After booking several nights, the guest reported spending only one, describing a very compact second-floor room without elevator access, a bed against two walls, drainage problems and an outlook close to the neighbouring building.

Ask about layout as well as décor

These accounts concern different rooms and periods. Confirm the exact floor, bathroom arrangement, usable luggage space and window outlook before choosing. If stairs or night-time noise are important to you, request a specific answer about the allocated room rather than inferring access or quiet from the photographs.
