Moonlight Cottage is listed at 89/8 Moo 3, Pa Klok, Thalang. Bang Rong Pier is around two kilometres away in the map listing, so it can be relevant to a next-day island departure. It is not a west-coast beach base.
Four rooms are listed, with balcony room and suite options, air conditioning, WiFi and parking. Confirm bedding and arrival time; reception has limited hours.
An overnight stop can work well with a confirmed transfer
Beverley’s 3 January 2026 Agoda review describes a December overnight stay before a speedboat to Koh Yao Yai. The guest praised a large, clean, comfortable room and a host who arranged a punctual taxi to Bang Rong Pier. A scooter loan for a restaurant visit was also appreciated, but that individual favour is not a standard inclusion.
If you choose the cottage for a boat connection, arrange the pier journey and check your boat operator’s meeting point. Being near Bang Rong does not replace a transfer plan.
Comfort and food expectations still vary
Mariah’s 21 December 2025 account liked the comfortable bed, shower, effective air conditioning and garden outlook. Greg’s April 2026 review also valued getting away from busier surroundings.
Scott’s February 2023 account praised cleanliness but found the bed very firm and dining limited without transport. Deep’s April 2024 family report described early-arrival difficulties, unavailable breakfast and ants following a food spill.
Confirm meals, check-in and transport costs before arrival, particularly with children or a tight boat schedule. These individual stays do not establish current conditions.
